Penguin Rush

Use your keyboard arrow keys to move the penguin across the ice and grab as many yummy snacks as possible and gain points. Zoom from side to side by pressing the space bar. And catch the big fish to boost your speed. You can use those points in the shop to buy different penguins! But watch out for the oil slick, barrels and other obstacles that can slow your penguin down. Hit too many obstacles and you'll have to start over. What's your high score?

About the game design

Sisler CREATE student Gavin Van Hussen is a talented up-and-coming game designer and the creator of Penguin Rush.

Sisler’s CREATE program is an entertainment arts training program located at Sisler High School, Winnipeg School Division.  Students in the CREATE Program will build foundational skills with hardware and software while using a wide range of creative toolsets. As students progress through the program, they specialize in a chosen creative field and apply their skills in project-based courses.
